You will participate in maintaining the accounting records of the College and in developing and improving its financial and internal control procedures under the direction of the Head of Finance.

Duties include:

  • Maintain the College Purchase Ledger including the posting of invoices and payment runs.
  • Complete month-end reconciliations of the Balance Sheet and investigate reasons for variances.
  • Provide debtor information and assist in management reporting as required.
  • Monitor HE and Advance Learning Loan payments and liaise with the Student Loans Company to resolve queries.
  • Reconcile the purchase order commitments reports with non-pay accruals.
  • Assist with pay forecast for the college.
  • Assist with monthly budget review and variance analysis.
  • Assist add hoc accounting tasks set by the Head of Finance.
  • Preparing and updating various finance policies.
  • Prepare the daily banking from the café till receipts.
  • Assist the Finance department with all daily and monthly administration tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
