Sophie Butcher – Higher Education Recruitment Manager
I started my career in the Motor trade at the age of 19 as a Sales Executive. When I moved into the world of recruitment I covered various sectors such as Construction and Commercial, this has led me to leading the Higher Education team at Protocol.
I love working on niche roles and finding the perfect fit for both client and candidate. I am a big team player – sharing successes with my team is my favourite part of the job.
Fun fact about Sophie: I spent 2 years living in Paris, just don’t ask me to speak French!
Laura Molnar – Recruitment Consultant
I was drawn to Recruitment because I find it rewarding when securing candidates in their dream job. My passion stems from placing people first, it truly is a joy seeing our clients and candidates happy in the process from start to finish.
Fun fact about Laura: I have lived and worked in 7 countries and I can pull the best duck face impression.
Darcy Inchboard – Recruitment Consultant
Before working at Protocol, I studied Archaeology and went on to be a Commercial Archaeologist, so I lived in a beautiful orange high visibility jacket digging big holes.
I love working at Protocol due to the room for progression that I now have – which isn’t as extensive in the world of archaeology. I genuinely enjoy the problem solving that’s involved with matching up candidates with the right job opportunities!
Fun fact about Darcy: I did my first real dig in Kazakhstan and found an old burial site.
Keaton Sharpe – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
In my previous employment, I worked for a Not-For-Profit Education and Training provider as a Business Development and Marketing Coordinator. I have always loved working in education and helping people achieve their goals and aspirations.
Fun fact about Keaton: I am currently studying for a degree apprenticeship in Business Management & Leadership at Nottingham Trent University. Also, I played for Leicester City Academy and support Liverpool FC.
Amy Lawson – Recruitment Resourcer
I started my career undertaking a traineeship which taught me essential key skills that I was able to utilise in my role and within an office environment. I also completed a placement at a care company where I learned how to process vital compliance and support documents.
After completing my placement and gaining my NVQ, I was able to complete a Business Support apprenticeship with Protocol. Since joining, I’ve gone from Apprentice to Compliance and Support Officer to Candidate Resourcer for HE.
Fun fact about Amy: I taught myself how to cook amazing dishes through watching YouTube videos.
