We are seeking a senior HR professional who reporting directly to the Chief Executive will lead our Developing People Strategic Action plan.

The primary focus of this role will be to create the narrative and the people change agenda for the transformation of City College Plymouth into the College of the Future. We’re looking for a brilliant communicator, a visionary who will encourage and inspire us to be brave and who will drive us to innovate and succeed. We’ll need a caring influencer and strong collaborator who is confident working alongside managers and leaders at all levels, continually nudging behavioural change on our journey to a culture that openly reflects our values of Ownership, Respect and Integrity.

Ideally with a strong employment law background, you will also be analytical, brave and comfortable with difficult decisions. Your business thinking and commercial awareness will support our people development strategy to deliver innovation and performance, whilst your vision and encouragement will help our whole staff to deliver an education and life experience that sets our students aside as ideal citizens and future employees.

A proven background in people and cultural development is absolutely essential and you will work with managers and staff to make recommendations for the continuous improvement of our culture.
