The Head of Curriculum Design & Development takes responsibility for the leadership and strategic development of all the design and curriculum development activities across the College. The focus of the role is to lead the development of the College curriculum in accordance with the College Curriculum Statement and to initiate and lead the implementation of key initiatives, growing our transaction- based learning programmes, which includes the SQE preparation courses. The post holder also leads on in this role the establishment and refinement of standards and policies for curriculum and programme development and design, their implementation and regular review.
The Head of Curriculum Design & Development requires effective people management skills, a problem-solving approach and the ability to lead and manage dedicated programme leaders and grow the faculty of diverse and representative subject matter experts and practitioners, working within tight deadlines.
The College of Legal Practice (“the College”) is a new, practice-based training provider that works with legal services organisations and individuals who are willing to make the bold choice to change the way they learn.

The College of Law in Australasia is a mature and unique not-for-profit provider of professional legal education and market leader for lawyer qualification training in Australasia. Their intention in forming The College of Legal Practice was to diversify and extend their expertise in delivering modular, practice-based legal training into new jurisdictions around the world, building on 45 years’ experience of working with leading law firms and training over 5,000 lawyers each year.
