About us:

We are currently looking for a Head of HR and Learning and Development. This role is newly created and we are excited to seek our next superstar to join our team. We are looking for a creative and influential individual to join us to take our vision and strategy on culture, training & development and recruitment to the next level!
Essential Requirements
- Have worked in an HR, Training and Development or Recruitment setting and will be proficient in managing and creating recruitment campaigns from start to finish, including onboarding and inducting.
- Hold a minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
- Understand the commercial demands of the business and how your role plays a crucial part in the improvement of business performance.
- A good sense of humour and a bright, enthusiastic personality.
- Be proactive and supportive in your approach.
- Able to manage a busy workload by prioritising effectively.
Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with company stakeholders to create and influence a People and Culture vision.
- Implement and develop a structured approach to talent attraction and talent management through effective induction and onboarding processes.
- Ensuring our Training and Development plan aligns to the company strategy and market place.
- Seek opportunities to engage and ensure people feel connected and valued, along with actively reviewing progress on a regular basis.
- Work closely with the company Directors on a reward and recognition scheme that aligns to the Training and development plan.
- Actively review and own our HR procedures. You will research ways on how we can enhance our current practices and ensure we are compliant and up to date with employment law.
- Ensure all managers are trained and equipped to use the system correctly and accurately and have an understanding on HR policies.
- Provide accurate management information and analyse KPI data to produce key business updates and narrative on trends.
- Own company quality standards including Investors in Diversity
- Ensure quality standards are upheld across the business, with frequent exercises such as 1-1 training, group workshops and companywide communications to increase and guarantee staff awareness.
- Research ways on how we can enhance our current quality standards and seek alternatives standards to further support improvements.
