We are delighted to be assisting a provider of further education with the appointment of an interim curriculum manager of health, child care and foundation learning. 

Based in Cumbria, this role is likely to require the successful candidate to stay away from home within the week.

The ideal candidate will be available to start in August and be able to commit for the duration of the first academic term. There is flexbility on working days for the right candodate. 


Role responsibilities

  • To oversee the day to day operational coordination, quality and development of the programme or programmes assigned, proactively identifying areas for improvement and action where necessary 
  • To act as the first point of contact for internal and external queries, issues and actions concerning the students on programme or for other programme related matters
  • To hold and take part in regular team meetings where applicable
  • To deputise in the absence of the Faculty Manager as required
  • Produce schemes of work and lesson plans for all teaching and learning. Producing and providing resources for students to enable effective learning


The person & qualifications

  • Experience at Curriculum manager is essential 
  • Recent and relevant experience of coordinating learning in an educational sector
  • Evidence of delivering a high quality and effective learning experience
  • A thorough knowledge of quality assurance processes and procedures.
