Protocol are working with an FE college based in Nottinghamshire. The college is well-managed and they are well known as specialists in the industries in which they work. This is your chance to work at a college with very strong industry links – ensuring learners are continually studying towards a truly employable career.

The college is looking for a LGV or DGV Specialist to join their team 1 day per week on a long-term or permanent basis. 

This role is completely flexible around your current commitments.

Role responsibilities

  • Training and assessing LGV/HGV/DGV learners in the local area including travel to learners in the workplace
  • Passing on your industry knowledge to learners that are there to work hard and get on with their career

 

The person & qualifications

  • Ideally you will have an assessors award, however this is not mandatory
  • Experience mentoring heavy vehicle apprentices as a minimum
