Protocol are currently recruiting for a large FE College in Lincolnshire for experienced Computer Studies Lecturers with full time and part time hours available on Permanent contracts. It will be delivering on a number of courses that the College offer including Btec Diploma in IT, Extended Certificate in Information and Creative Computing and BSc Computer Science. This is a great opportunity to support and develop the Computer Specialists of the future. 

Our client offers an excellent salary of up to £33254 per annum (pro rata for part time) and company benefits include: Computer Purchase Scheme, Cycle to work scheme and reduced memberships costs to onsite sport facilities.

 Role responsibilities:

  • Be able to passionately plan, prepare, deliver and assess a range of IT Programmes on offer from Level 2 to Level 6 including:
    • Btec Diploma in IT
    • Btec Extended Certificate in Information & Creative Computing
    • Btec Nationals in IT
    • BSc Computer Science

 The person & qualification:

  • Industry Experience
  • Ideally have recognised teaching qualification or willing to work towards one
  • Qualified to degree level in computing or computer science
  • Knowledge of Computing Languages – C, C++, html, JavaScript, PHP and more
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing technologies, app development, computer hardware and networking
