Protocol are pleased to offer the opportunity to work with a fantastic Further Education college in Derbyshire who are looking to recruit a professional construction assessor to assess level 3 construction and the built environment apprentices.
This college is frequently praised as being a great environment to work in with a supportive faculty. The position will be full time and temporary on-going with a possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. If you have significant built environment teaching experience and the enthusiasm to motivate learners and help them to achieve their academic goals then we are waiting to hear from you!
•To work effectively within a learning environment (Classroom, workshop and industry)
•To identify and apply strategies to facilitate effective learning (Classroom, workshop and industry)
•Delivering/assessing built environment subjects to level 3
•Practising safe workshop techniques
•To undertake risk assessments for all current and future workshop activities/assessments and equipment and maintain/update as per college guidelines
The person & qualifications
•HND/degree in construction & built environment or civil engineering
•L2 maths & English
•Verifier award desirable
