Protocol are working with a fantastic East Midlands based college to recruit a Hospitality Trainer and Assessor. As one of the largest further education providers in the country, this college offers a huge range of vocational and academic courses, helping their students find routes into higher education or their dream career. This education powerhouse is looking to bolster its Hospitality Team by bringing in a candidate to work 3.5 hours per week across on one day until June 2019, delivering up-to introduction level. 

This post is starting as soon as possible 

Role responsibilities

  • Planning and delivery of the Introduction to Hospitality course
  • Teaching 3.5 hours per week 
  • Motivating students to excel in their subject area
  • Complete student marking and provide feedback when required 
  • Adhere to college policies at all times 

The person & qualifications

  • You must have a recognised assessing qualification
  • Recent experience of delivering City and Guilds courses
  • Have a minimum of a L3 in a relevant subject 
  • Recent experience of teaching Hospitality courses
  • Must be enthusiastic and inspiring to learners
  • Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)
