We are working with the largest further education college in the UK to recruit for an experienced Sociology Lecturer.

The college have ambitious goals for the future and a strong vision to lead the way in the region as the ‘leading college for progression and employability. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, this is an excellent opportunity to work with a strong team and organisation.

The successful candidate will be teaching Level 3 to Social Science Access Learners for the full academic year on a Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Role responsibilities

  • To teach level 3 Sociology
  • To plan and prepare lessons
  • To mark and assess learners work

The person & qualifications

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification
  • Previous teaching experience
  • A minimum level 3 qualification in Sociology or related subject
