They understand that each young person is different and has specific needs, strengths and goals. Personalised Study Programmes and vocational courses provide young people and adults with the skills they need to move in to further education, training or employment in the area that is right for them. Partnering with employers to ensure students are enthusiastic, work-ready and reliable. Many of the young people have had problems at school, or can’t or don’t want to attend their local college.
The purpose of the role is to oversee day to day delivery of the level 1 & 2 Sport courses as well as support the delivery to all students as a team, leading on employability delivery, CV, Interview skills, job applications etc. The class size will be 8-10 students and will be aged between 16-18.
The post holder will be required to have significant knowledge of how to engage and develop students vocational skills, through the delivery of entry level to level 2 qualifications, while embedding functional skills and separately supporting the personal and social development which ensures personalised learning.

The person & qualifications
- Previous teaching experience
- A recognised teaching qualification
- A relevant sport qualification at degree level
- Experience of working with students with challenging behaviour
