Our client currently has an exciting opportunity as a Course Team Leader – Construction – Work Based Learning (Plumbing Specialism)  to join them on a permanent basis as a starting as soon as possible

Role responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and develop the curriculum on a range of programmes in Construction, to teach across a range of courses in Plumbing and provide leadership for a team of Lecturers.
  • You will develop the Commercial work within the section, including tracking of achievement and implementing the Internal Verification process for these programmes
  • You will have responsibility for the organisation and development of the curriculum
  • Making the best use of the team resources including staffing and consumables
  • Gaining maximum funding and income through high levels of enrolment, retention achievement and attendance.
  • Liaising with appropriate College staff and external bodies including employers 
  • Motivating students to excel in their subject area

The person & qualifications

  • You must have a recognised teaching qualification
  • Have a minimum of a L3 in a relevant subject / degree
  • Recent experience of teaching each across a range of courses in Plumbing and provide leadership for a team of Lecturers.
  • Must be enthusiastic and inspiring to learners
  • Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)
