Protocol are working with an established college group in the Warwickshire area who are seeking Learning Support Assistants for potential upcoming positions!

You will be required to support the teaching and learning of students who have a variety of special educational needs and disabilities. You will have an enthusiastic and inspiring personality, helping students achieve their full potential in a positive and engaging learning environment, assisting the lecturer within to ensure support is delivered sensitivity and effectively. 

 

The person & qualifications 

  • Experience of working with students with varying special educational needs preferably in an educational setting
  • Have a relevant qualification at Level 3 or above (i.e Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning) 
  • Hold English and Maths qualifications up to Level 2
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills so as to be able to form effective and positive relationships with young people and a wide range of professionals
