Protocol are delighted to invite 2 experienced lecturers to join an exciting team of hospitality and catering lecturers within a college setting based in Merseyside. The college are looking for (1) an experienced chef lecturer and (2) an enthusiastic hospitality and catering lecturer to deliver educational and informative sessions to students, with the aim to increase employability and give them the skills necessary to secure industry work placements on completion of the course.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about hospitality and catering and/or food prep and kitchen works, and who have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry background in hospitality and catering and/ or cookery, experience of teaching, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate adult learners.
These roles vary on hours, the chef lecturing position is offering full time hours running on a temporary-ongoing basis. The hospitality and catering lecturing position is offering part time hours covering two days per week on a flexible timetable designed to suit the candidate again on a temporary on-going basis.
