Protocol are delighted to invite a skilled Animal care assessor to tutor and assess the animal care students within a college setting based in Newcastle. 

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about animal care and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care/ animal management, experience of assessing students, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate  learners. 

This role is part-time, consisting of 1 days assessing per week, running until the end of July. 

The person & qualifications

  • A qualification in a relevant subject
  • An assessors qualification
  • Experience assessing students on animal care courses
