Protocol are delighted to invite a skilled games designer to deliver informative and educational lessons to students studying on the level 3 diploma in games design based in a college setting in West Yorkshire.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about games design and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in games design, be confident and comfortable working in the unity games engine and have experience with C# programming. Although teaching experience is desirable, it is not an essential element of this role as unity experience and industry experience within games design is key. The candidate should also have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners. 

This role is full-time and will run until the end of the academic year, with opportunity of a permanent placement for the following year. 

The person & qualifications

  • A qualification in a relevant subject
  • A teaching qualification (preferable but not essential)
  • Experience teaching games design courses (preferable but not essential) 
  • Comfortable and experienced working in the unity games engine (essential) 
  • Experienced with C# programming
