Protocol are delighted to invite a skilled software development trainer to assess and mentor students on the level 4 software development apprenticeships based within a 30 mile radius around South Yorkshire. 

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about software development and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry background in software development and programming languages, experience of training and assessing students, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners.

This role is full-time permanent and offers a competitive salary. 

The person & qualifications

  • A qualification in a relevant subject
  • An assessors qualification 
  • Industry experience within software development 
  • Experience training and assessing on software development courses 
  • Experience with programming languages (C++ and Python) 
  • Experience assessing on the new standards of apprenticeships
