As part of a multi-million pound investment in digital apprenticeships and T-Levels the college are looking to hire a new team to deliver and assess centred around their brand new “Digital Innovations Hub”. A huge part of this investment is set aside for staff development. You will be working with the largest employers in the industry on brand-new courses, truly the bleeding edge.

This is not your average assessor role. You will be an enthusiastic and skilled trainer working with like-minded individuals to grow both yourself and the provision. You will be shaping the delivery and working with an extremely motivational and professional management team.
Your primary responsibility will be delivery and assessment of the level 4 apprenticeship standard(s), we are particularly keen to hear from software developers and data analysts, however there will be opportunity to deliver and assess other subjects based on your knowledge. This could be anything from cybersecurity to T-Levels.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate and knowledgeable about software development or data analysis and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry background in software, experience of training and assessing students, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners.
The role is full-time permanent and the salary is negotiable if you have the right background. Additionally part-time candidates may be considered.
The person & qualifications
- To be successful you will have a visionary personality and be full of ideas
- You must have a passion for your subject area and teaching and learning
- Good knowledge of digital standards and how they are assessed
- An assessors qualification is desirable
- If an assessors award isn’t held, a teaching qualification is essential
- Experience assessing on the new digital standards would be highly desirable
- Relevant industry experience is a must
