Protocol are delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Mechanical Engineering/ Mechanical Maintenance Trainer/Assessor to work at a modern progressive Further Education College based in Leeds on a full time permanent basis.

This college is one of the leading FE colleges based in West Yorkshire with over 7 campuses across the region. The job

You will be responsible for the delivery of effective teaching and learning across the Mechanical and Maintenance programmes. You will deliver consistently good or better teaching sessions and motivate learners to raise their ambitions and realise their full potential.

Role responsibilities

  • Delivery and assessment of the level 2 and 3 Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Maintenance 

 

The person & qualifications

  • Hold a relevant assessing qualification, or be happy to work towards one
  • Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering 
  • Have a strong knowledge of the current Mechanical Engineering curriculum 
  • Ideally have experience using OneFile 
  • Hold level 2 qualifications in English and Maths 
  • A DBS Certificate that is on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
