Protocol are recruiting for Data modelling Lecturers on behalf of various Universities for potential, upcoming positions on the degree apprenticeship standard.

Universities will be welcoming cohorts this September and we are looking for applications from Data analysts who will ideally have experience of teaching in higher education.

Appointees will develop and deliver undergraduate BEng and postgraduate MSc programmes, as well as other programmes.

The ideal candidate

  • PhD in Computing or closely related discipline or are expected to complete their PhD in the near future
  • Well-rounded capabilities in research, teaching and engagement
  • Contemporary experience in the field of data architecture
  • Demonstratable experience of industry standard tools and methods for data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of data protection and legal issues.


Desirable skills & attributes:

  • Demonstrable high level of technical skills
  • Taught in HE setting
  • A PGCE, Certificate of Education, PGCLTHE or membership of the Higher Education Academy (or commitment to obtain within three years of appointment).
