We are working in partnership with Wigan & Leigh College to recruit exceptional Assessors for their Construction Department.

We are looking for a highly motivated Plastering Assessor to work on a temporary or permanent basis. You will be required to work at the college as well as visit workplaces.

 

Role responsibilities

  • To assess plastering up to level 3
  • To travel to workplaces to meet with apprentices
  • To pass on your skills and industry knowledge to students
  • To develop and deliver best practice in learning, teaching and assessment
  • To assist in the implementation of pastoral and welfare systems for students, including induction, recording achievements and action planning

The person & qualifications

  • Hold a recognised assessing qualification 
  • Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in Plastering
  • Have previous experience assessing students and/or apprentices
  • Ability to travel between sites and workplaces
