Personalised Study Programmes and vocational courses provide young people and adults with the skills they need to move in to further education, training or employment in the area that is right for them. Partnering with employers to ensure students are enthusiastic, work-ready and reliable. Many of the young people have had problems at school, or can’t or don’t want to attend their local college.
We are currently looking to recruit a GCSE and Functional Skills Maths Lecturer for 35 hours per week. The hours are Mondays – Friday 9am – 4pm with 1 hour for lunch.
- To teach Maths on the GCSE and Functional Skills Curriculum
- To plan and prepare lessons
- To mark students work and measure their progress
- Act as a personal tutor (as required)
The person & qualifications
- A UK teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching Maths
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Be committed to Safeguarding and Equality & Diversity
- A DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain)
