Protocol are working with a fantastic client, who are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Support Worker, to provide support and guidance to university students struggling with an existing or emerging mental health condition.

You will be an experienced professional, with a background working in mental health support as a mental health nurse, mental health social worker or psychological wellbeing practitioner. You will need to be a registered practitioner with either the HCPC, NMC or Social Work England as well as a demonstrable understanding of the support needs of higher education students.

You will also have excellent communication skills, be able to manage sensitive situations with both students and staff and promote mental health awareness within the university.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, as the role will be largely based around working remotely. We are looking for both part-time and full-time availability, with a view to start as soon as possible.
