Protocol are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineering Trainer/Assessor within a well-established FE college based in South Yorkshire.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about electrical engineering and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, experience of teaching, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners.
The standards the college offer: Engineering Operative Level 2, Maintenance and Operational Engineering Technician (MOET), Engineering Technician (Mechatronics)
This position would be working on a full time, permanent basis.
- Delivering work based learning in electrical maintenance on the new standards
- Liaising with the employer and apprentice to ensure they progress through the standard and achieve EPA in a timely manner
The person & qualifications
- Hold an assessors qualification
- Level 3 in electrical engineering
- Experience working with learners on the level 3 electrical engineering qualification
