Are you a registered Mental Health Nurse with experience of teaching in Higher Education?

Protocol are recruiting for a Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing to work for a University based in the West Midlands.

As a Mental Health Nursing Lecturer, you will be involved in preparing and delivering teaching and learning activity on various aspects of mental health and post registration nursing courses. You will also provide support to students, practice supervisors and practice assessors within clinical practice areas.

You will have previous experience of teaching, preferably at Higher Education level, and be able to work well as part of a team.

You will also possess a good depth of subject understanding relating to Mental Health Nursing, with the ability to teach and assess across a range of levels.

You will also need to have the following:

  • Membership of a relevant professional body.
  • A Higher Education teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.

A Masters degree and PhD in a relevant discipline are also desirable.
