Protocol are pleased to present a part-time opportunity for an experienced Programmer and Tutor to join a large, well-established Further Education college in Merseyside delivering programing units to students on their BTEC Level 3 Diploma in IT in January 2021.
The successful candidate will be imaginative in their approach to teaching, in order to engage and inspire the learners. They will have the skills and understanding to make learning relevant to the students personal goals and to motivate students with learning difficulties, ensuring they are engaged and supported.
The course will run from January for 12 weeks and will be 6 hours per week (one day). You will be teaching an accredited unit at Level 3 (Unit 4 of Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma in IT) this role will be based from the college to start, with the possibility of the second half of the course being run online via Teams.

The person & qualifications
- A teaching qualification
- A Higher Education qualification in Computing/Software
- Good knowledge of programming language(s)
- Previous experience of teaching to Level 3
- A DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain)
