Apply nowProtocol are proudly working with a leading provider of further education and training in Greater Manchester to recruit an exceptional Electrical Installation Trainer Assessor to join their highly motivated and creative team a fulltime permanent basis in a role with a competitive salary and excellent benefits!
The role will be based at an ambitious Grade 2 college. Now is an exciting time to join them on their journey to becoming an outstanding provider or education and vocational training!
An Electrical Installation Trainer/Assessor is required to carry out workplace assessments, reviews and set action plans for apprentices, including SMART Targets and deliver on professional qualifications at Levels 2-3 including the embedding of Functional Skills. The successful candidate will be experienced in a range of installation work and able to carry out assessments in accordance with awarding body requirements.The post holder will be required to teach some apprenticeship groups in college.
Suitable candidates will hold a recognised assessment qualification (TAQA, A1, V1 or equivalent) additionally a teaching qualification would be desirable, ideally the success candidate would be confident in all aspects of workplace assessment.
The person & qualifications
- Assessor Award (TAQA, A1, V1 or equivalent)
- Electrical Installation qualified (Level 3 NVQ)
- Desirable – A teaching qualification
- Desirable – An understanding and prior use of Smart Assessor
- Previous experience of workplace assessment
