Protocol are proud to be working with a provider of skills & training to recruit for a Childcare Trainer based in the Somerset region. Our client are rapidly expanding and are seeing huge growth in this particular subject and are looking for someone passionate to join their small but growing team in Yorkshire. You will be required to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment to learners. You will be fully onboarded and working remotely for the time being. 

We are looking for someone who can train/deliver up to level 5 Health and Social Care and also Residential Childcare. 

Our client have offered progression packages in the past and have also lots of CPD and qualifications to their staff members such as IQA award. 

Role responsibilities

  • Working with a caseload of learners on the residential childcare & health and social care programmes, you will be responsible for all teaching & learning relating to this qualification
  • Delivering some functional skills in Maths, English and ICT up to level 2
  • Achievement and timely completion of learners
  • Diary management

The person & qualifications

  • Assessing qualification (A1 Award, D32 or equivalent)
  • Residential Childcare level 3 qualification
  • IT Competent with working remotely
  • Previous experience of delivering similar programmes, and functional skills
