Protocol are delighted to be working with a Training Provider in London focused on delivering quality courses in Beauty, Barbering, Hairdressing and Make Up.

They are looking for a part-time Lecturer in Barbering to join their team in April.

You will need to be up to date with commercial Barbering skills, along with a recognised Barbering qualification.

Teaching and assessing qualifications are also required, along with experience delivering Barbering courses.

In addition, you must be enthusiastic, passionate, honest, reliable and motivated who is able to engage with students to ensure that they reach their full potential. 

Role responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records for students’ progress in the academy and the workplace. 

  • Have good knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements, along with an understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment. 

  • You must have an understanding of curriculum design and assessment Knowledge

  • Posses the ability to work independently demonstrating initiative and proactivity 

  • Posses excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate concerns, complex / contentious issues in a diplomatic manner that does not offend or escalate etc 

The person & qualifications

  • Experience of working in the Education sector

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in  Barbering 

  • Relevant Teaching qualification 

  • Assessors qualification
