Are you a Work Based Learning Coach or Assessor with experience in Digital Skills, covering Cyber Security, Data Analytics or Software Engineering?

Protocol are higher education recruitment specialists, and we are looking to speak with a Work Based Learning Coach or Assessor for an opportunity with a University in the North East.

As a Work Based Learning Coach, you would have a cohort of 35 learners, visiting different employer sites to work with the apprentices at their place of work. The learners will be undertaking the Level 7 MSc Digital Technology Solutions apprenticeship, with specialisms in Data Analytics, Cyber Security and Software Engineering.

This is an ongoing temporary position on full-time hours, with the possibility of it leading to a fixed-term contract.


  • You must be North East based or willing to travel.
  • You must have experience of delivery at level 5, although ideally level 7.
  • You will ideally be familiar with Ofsted.
  • You must have vocational experience.
