Protocol are working with a forward-thinking training organisation who are looking to recruit their newly created role; Head of Learning. Our client work in a specific field; think health & safety and are looking at offering more “soft skills” training including customer service, sales and inclusion to name but a few. These qualifications aren’t apprenticeships but more commercial short one, two day courses.
As the Head of learning you will be joining a management team to help the business grow and expand. You will be embedding learning technologies with a significent use of Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence along the more traditional face-to-face and e-learning delivery methods.
Initially, you will come in and work with the Subject Matter Experts in designing and implementing high quality learning programmes. Our client are also looking at using flexible/freelance trainers and you will be responsible for recruiting and managing the trainers on a national basis. Once the initial courses have been established you will be managing the trainers, providing quality assurance and continually adding and updating courses based on customer feedback and demand.
The person & qualifications
- Proven experience of developing creating courses
- Past experiences of managing teams and trainers
- Big on quality assurance
- Ability to travel
- Experience in delivering, or creating commercial courses would be advantageous
