Protocol is working with a Further Education College in London in the recruitment to the position of Inclusion Manager.
We are seeking an experienced and pro-active individual to manage Additional Learning Support across the college. You will be the dedicated SENCO for the college and will ensure successful outcomes for SEND learners through the management of a team of learning support staff. You would also ensure the Code of Practice requirements are met, with particular focus on the EHCP and High Needs requirements, and be responsible for budget management and compliance with local authority timelines.
The person & qualifications
- A relevant degree (or equivalent)
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE/DTLLS)
- Qualified SENCO status
- Extensive knowledge of funding for Additional Learning Support
- Experience of managing and coordinating the delivery of Additional Learning Support
- Experience as a SENCO/ALS Manager within an educational environment.
- Experience of managing or supervising a team in Further Education or in a similar setting.
