Protocol is working with a further education provider in Hampshire in the recruitment to the position of Curriculum Manager – Counselling, Access to HE and Supporting Teaching and Learning.
The successful candidate will lead the Colleges adult, further and higher education provision in a curriculum area which currently comprises Access, Counselling and Supporting Teaching and Learning qualifications. This role is both curriculum management and teaching.
The person & qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have the ability to motivate and lead staff and students; having high expectations for both. You will also need to have a thorough understanding of Higher education and the quality processes that underpin an outstanding student experience. You will be responsible for managing high quality teaching, learning and assessment that builds outstanding levels of attainment and progression for students within the department.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification in this area and also possess a level 4 teaching qualification or above. You will have excellent communication skills and have experience in working to demanding targets and deadlines. You will be required to manage the student experience and a committed team of teachers. You must also possess the personal and professional skills and attributes to take this area forward to achieve “outstanding”.
