Protocol have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Specialist Tutor for a college based in Nottinghamshire to deliver on City & Guilds 6189 and 9189 Gas Pathways.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about Gas and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the industry, experience of assessing/teaching and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners.
The College are the largest single provider of education to school leavers in an area bridging South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire. They deliver excellent technical training and Apprenticeships for young people each year, propelling them forward to employment or undergraduate courses, taking an active role in supporting the local business community to thrive and succeed.
This position will be working 37 hours per week for a minimum 6 months.
- Deliver on City & Guilds 6189 and 9189 Gas Pathways – including the management of the ISA’s and gas training.
- To equip the students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire students to achieve their potential.
The person & qualifications
- Hold a minimum Level 3 Gas qualification
- Have a current ACS qualification
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification
- An assessors award (desirable)
- Experience delivering the Gas qualification up to level 3
- Industry experience
