Salary:  £17,591 – £17,906 per annum

The person & qualifications

  • Administration experience is desirable
  • Experience with Prosolution or timetabling is desirable


  • Assist in the preparation and distribute timelines for data submission to all key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to Central Timetabling Service (CTS) deadlines by all parties, reporting to Attendance and Timetabling Manager as issues emerge.
  • Creation of Timetables
  • Collection and input of accurate data into ProSolution within agreed timescales as defined by the Attendance and Timetabling Manager.
  • Liaise with the CTS, Directors of Faculty, Heads of Academy, Subject Leads and Course Coordinators to resolve timetabling anomalies and request adjustments to the preliminary timetable.
  • Ensure that the correct staff members are attached accurately to each teaching activity.
  • Ensure that each Faculty Curriculum Plan is reconciled to the completed timetable and all elements of the timetable are entered in detail.
  • In liaison with the Attendance and Timetabling Manager and appropriate academic manager, ensure an effective and appropriate learning environment is provided for each group;
  • Schedule teaching activities to minimise student travel.
  • Contribute to the efficient utilisation of the College’s teaching space through effective and responsible timetabling.
  • Support cross College timetabling through inter-faculty timetabling activities as required and requested by Attendance and Timetabling Manager.
  • Maintenance of timetables
  • Inform CTS when rooms are no longer required and available for reallocation.
  • Recording of absence on ProSolution.
