Job Title: Key Account Manager – Higher Education

Salary: £60,000 +

Location: Remote, with travel UK wide required.

We are currently working with an international organization to recruit multiple Key Account Managers to work in the UK.

This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week. 

The Client:

You will be working for a company that works with both Higher education institutions, and international students to assist in international financial transfers. They offer a professional international education payment service integrated with mobile banking apps and major financial platforms abroad. A global payment network and financial technology make cross-border payments feel like domestic payments, which can arrive as fast as one hour. They are now looking to recruit and form a sales team in the UK to connect, and build new partners in the higher education industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and build relationships with new and existing partners to enhance brand recognition and help universities reduce workload.

  • Generation of leads and potential clients.

  • Work on activities and events to create inbound leads (e.g. creating content, making visits, local events, conferences or webinars).

  • Attend to sales inquiries in an efficient and professional manner.

  • Identify university clients’ needs and pain points, and feed back to improve our products and services.

  • Project management – Delivery and implementation of our solution, working together with our product, technical, operational and marketing teams.

  • Develop sales strategy in the UK and frequently update HQ with progress and development.


About You:

  • Strong and demonstrable sales or marketing experience.

  • Experience in consultative sales; with the ability to build rapport quickly, perform demonstration of our products remotely and meet the needs of our clients with solutions that are effective.

  • Strong communication skills (written and oral).

  • The ability to handle multiple projects, clients and accounts simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with CRM applications.

  • A native fluency in English is required. Familiarity with Mandarin is a plus.

  • Experienced with education sales and well connected with university finance and cashier departments in the UK would be desirable.



  • Fantastic basic salary, plus commission.

  • The ability to work remote or on-site, with opportunity to travel throughout the UK.
