Operations Manager- Permanent Full Time- Birmingham

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to be based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to implement, manage and develop a fantastic programme which help young adults find employment, pathways into training and education and build up confidence in life situations. The Role

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Line Management of all staff within the operations team.
  • Hold supervision meetings (1-2-1’s), annual appraisals and bi-weekly team meetings and monitor operating progress against targets.
  • Contribute to the professional development of staff by providing internal training.

Fund Raising and Finance

  • Responsible for the sustainability and growth of programmes by securing funding from Trusts and Foundations, identifying and developing new corporate supporters and winning local contracts from commissioned income streams such as Offending and Rehabilitation Services, Employability Training Providers and Colleges. Above areas of work supported by the MD and Commercial team.

Performance Management

  • Responsible for the achievement of operational targets.
  • Agree and communicate operational targets with the local operations team, monitoring progress throughout the year.
  • Responsible for the quality assurance of operational programmes.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of data using Street League’s M&E system.
  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the MD.

Plan, develop and oversee the provision of high-quality projects and programmes

  • Assist in the delivery of the academy programmes with support from other staff when needed to be involved in operational delivery.
  • Train new staff in all aspects of delivering the academy programme.
  • Manage contracts and service level agreements with partner organisations.

Ensure Outcomes Meet Targets

  • Oversee an increase in the number of referral agencies in line with set targets
  • Ensure delivery teams are regularly updated on developments within Street League via team meetings.
  • Oversee the organisation and management of tours and events involving Street League participants and staff when necessary.
  • Monitor work plans and feedback operational developments to the MD.
