Employability Tutor, West Yorkshire

Protocol are working with a college in West Yorkshire to recruit for an experienced Employability tutor to work on a part-time basis until the end of the academic year and potentially beyond.

The role involves supporting students to complete and reflect on their work experience and guest speakers for different jobs. As well as deliver modules including barriers to finding work, customer care, taking part in an enterprise activity, and exploring job opportunities

The hours include: 

Wednesday 10.00-11.15 level 1 Employability skills (units left to deliver include barriers to finding work, customer care, taking part in an enterprise activity, exploring job opportunities)

Wednesday 12.15-13.15 work experience with a 2nd first year level 3 group as above

Thursday 9-10.15 level 1 Employability skills (same group and details as above)

and Thursday 10.30-12.45 level 1 Employability skills (repeat of work as above)

The person and qualification

• Have experience of teaching Employing Skills
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to get one
