Digital Employer Engagement Adviser, Lancashire

Protocol is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Digital Employer Engagement Adviser on behalf of an Educational establishment on a full-time fixed term basis until December 2022.

You will need an Enhanced DBS Ideally on the update service

Salary:  £12.00 – £16.00ph

The person & qualifications

• Have an in‐depth understanding of current and emerging computing and digital skills requirements in the workplace
• Strong communication skills – able to present information effectively both orally and in writing
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel to employer sites
• Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise workloads and deliver outcomes to deadlines

Duties

• To engage and work with employers to gain a clear understanding of their employees’ digital skills
• To take the lead in establishing positive relationships with local and national employers to successfully secure employer engagement in digital skills training
• Ability to network effectively and work productively with employers from a variety of sectors to negotiate and establish a programme of digital training
• Develop a range of activities to engage employers in digital training
