Wigan & Leigh College has a long-standing history in providing quality education and training. This position is on a full-time basis, starting immediately.
The ideal candidate is an engaging, enthusiastic, motivated individual who have previously taught at this level, and holds relevant teaching qualifications.!
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver Level 3 Sport, Level 3 Sport Science, Level 3 VTCT Sport Massage, and HND Sport.
- Preparing interactive and engaging lessons.
- Identifying and analysing student needs.
- Demonstrating and overseeing practical lessons.
- Setting and grading assessments.
The Person & Qualifications:
- Ideally has previously worked in industry.
- Ideally has previous teaching experience delivering level 3 sport, or a related subject area.
- Holds a degree in Sports, or a related subject area.
- Holds a relevant teaching qualification, or is willing to work towards one.
- Holds Maths & English qualifications at grade C or equivalent.
- Holds the ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners.
