Protocol are working in partnership with the London City Institute of Technology, Newham College and Queen Mary University of London, with support from key employers, the Greater London Authority and the London Borough of Newham.

The London Institute of Technology (IoT) will offer students industry-standard qualifications in key sectors so they can progress directly into employment:

T Levels
Level 4-5 technical qualifications
Transport engineering apprenticeships and higher apprenticeships
Level 6-7 degree apprenticeships
Degree programmes with a year in industry

They are expecting 350 learners to be enrolled by September 2022. They have a number of employers who have committed to the project including, CBRE, HS2, Serco, Network Rail

We are looking for permanent members of staff in the following subjects:

Construction and the Built Environment 
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Installations and Electrical Engineering
Rail Engineering

The college are happy to offer 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 or full time contracts. A teaching qualification is desirable and subject specific qualifications are essential.

The IoT are holding an open day for candidates who wish to work at the IoT and can meet Lloyd Davis (Hiring Manager) and answer any questions they may have.

Date: Wednesday 4th May
Time: 3-5pm or 5-7pm (this will be confirmed once candidate availability is discussed)
Location: Newham College, Stratford Campus
Order of the day: Hot and cold drinks arrival, presentation by Lloyd Davis and then Q&A session.
