A college in the Leicestershire area is looking for an AAT Lecturer to teach mainly Level 2s but could also potentially teach Level 3.

The ideal candidate will need to be flexible with their hours teaching days in the classroom on Tuesday-Thursday (standard college times) & Thursday evening’s 5.30pm-8.30pm. They are also looking for someone to pick up 1-1’s and catch up workshops on Mondays and Fridays.

They are happy to consider anyone willing to help part time to just do the teaching hours on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday but it would be preferable to have someone who would be looking for full time.

The college are also looking for someone to continue throughout the summer holidays to help current apprentices.

This role pays £23-£25 per hour + statutory holiday pay.

Role responsibilities

  • Create and provide teaching resources for AAT
  • Monitor student progression via classroom interactions/ 1-1’s/ assessments
  • Create a safe and encouraging learning environment.

The person & qualifications

  • Hold a DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
  • Have experience of teaching AAT (L2 up to L3). 
  • Hold a teaching qualification.
