Each prison has its own purpose-built OFSTED registered education department, boasting with both fully equipped classrooms for academic subjects and custom assembled workshops for vocational courses. All subjects delivered are fully accredited with a view to the learners gaining recognised qualifications.
We are looking for a SEN Specialist Personal Social Developement Tutor on a full-time, permanent basis at HMYOI Wetherby based in West Yorkshire.
In this role, we are looking for outstanding candidates who will be able to plan, organise and deliver a vocational competency based curriculum up to level 3. Within this role, you will be best placed to help engage and motivate young learners who are looking to develope new and exciting skills to help transform their lives.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience;
- You will hold a teaching qualification to at least level 3
- You will have experience teaching SEND learners
- You will hold a level 3 qualification in Personal and Social Developement or any relevant field
- Have good organisational and planning skills.
- Plenty of enthusiasm and the ability to motivate learners.
- Willingness to provide outstanding support for learners
- To have a track record of working effectively with people
- The passion for teaching and engaging young learners
