We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to plan, and organise, teaching sessions within the Sports & Uniformed Services field. You will also be providing support to the learning experience within the Sport Curriculum area. In addition, you will be required to demonstrate and provide instruction by delivering interactive and engaging lessons, assessing competence and providing feedback to students on their progress during development of their skills.
- To co-ordinate the administration, organisation and delivery of lessons planning and delivery for Sport and Uniformed Services students. To assist students to develop skills within the curriculum area and provide continuous
support throughout service delivery and assessment.
- As a skilled communicator, you should have excellent organisational, IT and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on your own initiative and meet deadlines. You will be required to develop positive working relationships with both external customers and clients of the College.
The person & qualifications
- You should be qualified to SCQF level 8 (or equivalent) with a specialism in Sport, together with current experience of working in the industry, with evidence of recent Continuous Professional Development. An assessor qualification would be an advantage or willingness to work towards this upon appointment to the post would be required.
