Protocol are working with a South Yorkshire college to find a passionate Land-based Lecturer to work on a long-term temporary basis.
As a land based lecturer, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of teaching in the department and working with the wider team to implementing strategic change to further develop the provision.
The role is to start ASAP and is for the entirety of the next academic year 22/23 and potentially beyond!
There are flexible hours for this role, both part-time and full-time roles available!
The rate of pay is £20-£25 per hour plus statutory holiday pay, depending on experience.
The person & qualifications
The ideal candidate you will have extensive knowledge of horticulture and/or environmental conservation and experience working with a range of student levels, with work history and qualifications to support this!
- Hold a relevant academic or professional qualification at Level 4 (or equivalent).
- Hold (or be willing to work towards) a teaching qualification.
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to get one!
