A new Business Support Co-ordinator and Analyst is required in Bath, To coordinate and complete sign up processes with apprentices and employers in line with ESFA requirements. To deliver accurate analysis and management reporting on KPIs, accurate returns to the ESFA, paperwork in line with ESFA guidance which is compliant with ESFA Funding Audit requirements, and support in ensuring that all learners complete their apprenticeships in the agreed timeframe. To ensure that incentive payments, off the job tracking, and month end arrangements are in place and accurate. To ensure the accurate and efficient coordination and operation of the Digital Apprenticeship Service. To provide analysis of co funding payments to ensure payment obligations are accurately identified and that employers are invoiced appropriately.

Role responsibilities

  • To support the Head of Apprenticeships to provide a learner journey which is seamless & unobtrusive, by providing customer focused operational activities supported, where appropriate, by innovative technology.

  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative information in respect of all apprentices and WBL learners to ensure information is accurately and effectively recorded on the College’s Student Records Systems, including ProSolution and ProMonitor, to ensure that the college is able to make accurate funding claims to the relevant bodies on a timely basis.

  • Ensure that systems and processes are updated as necessary to address persistent data errors as reported by the college CIS Team.

  • Ensure that CIS Management are aware of any service issues or concerns.

  • Carry out sign up meetings with students and employers in the workplace where appropriate ensuring that all records and documentation meet audit and funding requirements.

 

The person & qualifications

  • 5 GCSE’s (Grade C/4 or above) inc. English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).

  • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the apprenticeship sector, funding strategies, the Digital Apprenticeship Service, and ILR.

  • Knowledge of quality assurance procedures, validation and audit reviews.

  • Understanding and experience of PFA Audit.

  • Demonstrate E-literacy and competency in:

    • MS Word: A good working knowledge of producing documents and emails.
    • MS Excel: Able to create basic Excel formulas, enabling manipulation and dissemination of information

  • Demonstrate proven experience in information analysis.

  • Demonstrate proven experience of providing administrative support
