Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Rotherham in their search for Academic staff ready for the New Academic Year starting in August 2022. We are specifically looking for Experienced Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants to support the development and education of students for the new year. 

In this rewarding role, you will provide in and out of class support to assist students with learning difficulties/disabilities to help them achieve their best possible outcomes. You will be a key part of the team, and will assist in the planning, preparation & assessment of learning, giving feedback to tutors and managers on learners. You will also be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students having due regard to the College’s Child & Vulnerable Adults Protection Policy. You will be working in the Additional Learning Support Team and liaising with members of the Additional Learning Support and Curriculum department teams, LSA Coordinator and tutors to support learners within the classroom environment

Hours on offer are either 15, 20, 25 or 30 hours per week on a Permanent basis with annual Salaries pro rata as below:

  • 15 hours £5,957 per annum
  • 20 Hours £7,942 per annum
  • 25 Hours £9,928 per annum
  • 30 Hours £11,913 per annum
