Protocol is working closely with a Further Education College based in Bath in their search for a Art & Design Lecturer. The College is committed to providing a broad range of academic subjects and the rapidly growing department is looking for passionate and motivated people to join the team.  This is an exciting opportunity for a creative specialist to deliver on various courses in the Art, Enterprise & Construction department.  

The role:

  • 22.5hr – 37hr per week
  • To deliver on the departmental requirements of core modules in line with UAL
  • Delivering across levels 1, 2 and 3
  • Ensure that all students are well prepared for assessments through exams and employer set projects
  • Producing sequenced schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and any other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning ensuring Ofsted Readiness.

Have you got what it takes? 

  • Relevant qualification in Art & Design or extensive industry experience
  • Proven experience teaching at L1 – L3 in an academic institution
  • Vigilant attitude to health and safety and safe use of specialised equipment
  • Teaching qualification desirable
