Protocol are working with a leading FE College situated in Stoke on Trent. The College is a leading provider of further education, higher education, apprenticeships and professional training, with a national reputation for the quality of their provision and the high standards of customer service and support they offer.
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join them on a temporary basis as a Full-time Lecturer in Hospitality and Professional and a part-time Lecturer in Hospitality and Professional Cookery (with Pastry) starting ASAP. Both are temporary roles with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
This will be across the provision at levels 1-3 and specifically within the following qualifications: Level 1 Culinary Skills, Level 2 Culinary Skills, Level 2 Pastry and Confectionary, Level 3 Pastry and Confectionary, and Level 3 Professional Cookery
- Preparing interactive and engaging lessons.
- Identifying and analysing student needs.
- Demonstrating and overseeing practical lessons.
- Setting and marking assessments.
The person and qualifications:
- Minimum of Level 3 qualification within Hospitality
- Hands on experience in delivering quality food and service
- A relevant teaching qualification.
- DBS on the update service.
